Beltone Hearing Aid Batteries

by Bobeephorses

Hearing aids are okay but the batteries are awful. Mine only last 2 days. I only use them a couple times a week so the batteries should last longer. They are left outside the hearing aid in the box given to me by Beltone. I can not buy batteries all the time on a fixed income. What good is the hearing aids if you can not buy batteries?

If your hearing aid batteries are lasting only 2 days there may be a problem with the hearing aid. Even the smallest size number 10 battery should last at least 5 days or longer. Have you discussed the battery life with your hearing aid specialist at Beltone? Excessive battery drain may indicate that your hearing aid may need repaired.

Beltone batteries?
by: Vootsak

Batteries last two days! You are lucky . . . some lasted one hour. Bells start ringing ten minutes after I replace the battery in one of my hearing aids, and continue to do so every fifteen minutes for a couple hours, when it finally dies.

The Beltone rep is blaming the need to give it more power (than the other one) because my hearing is worse on that side. On the other hearing aid, the battery lasts between 10 and 14 hours.
Needless to say, I am researching for another brand.
