Costco Hearing Aids Review

Costco is a warehouse store that offers myriad products and services including Costco hearing aids at each worldwide location they have. Anything from paper goods to groceries to electronics is sold. Costco holds pride in the fact that they are a one-stop shop for nearly everything.

Hearing professionals staff the Costco Hearing Aid Centers and there are three main providers for Costco's hearing aids. Each model and style is different enough so as to satisfy any type of hearing loss. So if the patient is suffering mild, severe or profound hearing loss than they can be treated by the Costco specialists.

When searching for hearing aids it is a good thing to know that hearing loss can be like a thumbprint - not a single individual's hearing loss is alike. In order to determine what is best for the patient, the Costco staff will provide testing so there is a foundation to go by and recommendations can be made from that point forward on the perfect hearing aid.

There are many benefits offered at the Costco Hearing Aid Centers to help the patient make the proper decisions and to be properly educated regarding their Costco hearing aid. First, there is a good range on pricing so that any budget can be satisfied. All of the models, no matter the manufacturer, use the most current technology to bring about the truest sound possible.

There are free hearing tests to make sure the patient can be helped with hearing aids, free product demonstrations and follow up appointments. Cleanings and checkups are free as well. Warranties, loss and damage coverage, a dryer, batteries and a 90 day trial period sweeten the deal.

There are six different styles of Costco hearing aids to choose from. Open Fit is perfect for those with mild to moderately severe hearing loss. This type is worn behind the ear with a thin tube to the ear for natural sound.

Behind The Ear (BTE) is for mild to profound hearing loss and is attached to a custom fitted earmold within the ear. For mild to severe hearing loss a Bluetooth® Capable hearing aid may be the perfect choice. This aid works much like the Open Fit. In The Ear (ITE) can also be used for mild to severe hearing loss and is a custom mold for the individual's ear. It usually fills up most of the outer ear to allow for working similar to how the ear actually works. A Canal is for mild to moderate loss and is also a custom mold to fit within the canal with only a small portion in the outer ear. Lastly there is the Completely In The Canal (CCIC) for the mild to moderate loss and is another type that offers a custom mold that actually fit totally within the ear canal for the closest to real sound that a hearing aid can give.
