Costco ReSound hearing aids; a defective product

by Unsatisfied
(Arizona)

Costco hearing personnel are great. However, they have replaced my Costco ReSound hearing aids twice because the first two sets kept going off several times per day.

I'm on the third set and now they periodically go off also. ReSound would not provide me any support for the problem and only said to go back to Costco. ReSound has to be manufacturing a defective product with three sets in only a few months! How can a company take my $2600 and not provide me with a working, problem free product? I'm undecided about what to do next.

Costco hearing aids terrible
by: Michael

My mother's Costco hearing aid repeatedly shuts off or has an unstoppable whistling reverberation. The lousy audiologist at the Niles store has lied to her, telling her it is her problem.

The new pack of hearing aid batteries all have low voltage. They cheat people into thinking the problem will be fixed, and then the 30 day return period is over, and you are stuck with a $2800 piece of junk.

More people should speak up so this company is shut down.
