Information on Digital Hearing Aids
I wanted to develop a page on Information on Digital Hearing Aids or Hearing Aids Resources. Obviously I want to provide you with as much information of hearing aids as possible right here at Complete-Hearing-Aid-Reviews.com.
However, there are many other hearing aid sites that can provide you with some good information on hearing aids resources. If you have a website or you are a hearing care professional and would like to provide a link here to your website, please go to the "Contact Us" page. Submit your contact information and a link to your website and I will contact you.
Here is a website that teaches you Sign Language. It also has many great books and other resources on learning how to sign. It is called Start American Sign Language.com.
When my daughter Taryn was in first and second grade she took classes on Sign Language. It was a great experience for her. She did not need to use Sign Language to communicate but it did help her understand more about hearing loss.
She also realized that there are many people that had much greater hearing loss than she did. She picked up signing very quickly. I remember she could Sign the alphabet as quick as I could say it.
Here are some more websites with information on digital hearing aids:
The Hearing Aids Wizard is a great resource.
The Hearing Aids Wizard has information on the different styles of hearing aids. It also has a very good page on the BAHA or Bone Anchored Hearing Aids that is worthwhile reading.
Hearingaids123.com has a great deal of information of digital hearing aids that I think you will find useful. It has some good instructional pages such as “How to change hearing aid batteries” and information on used hearing aids that is very interesting.
I will be adding more resources on hearing loss, hearing evaluations, and other hearing aid resources as they become available.
