Parts no longer available for my Interton Avio hearing aids

by Diana Weeck-Reaves
(Sacramento,CA)

Purchased Interton Avio hearing aids in December 2008 From Costco in Reno, NV. Have returned them each once to Costco since then, and they had to send them to the manufacturer to have repairs done.

I have taken them back to Costco this past year because they wouldn't stop beeping, and was told that the manufacturer no longer has parts for this series, and that I'd have to purchase new hearing aids.

I don't mind paying for repairs again, but I am in no position to purchase new hearing aids.
Is it true that there are no longer parts available for my hearing aids?

Try an All Make Repair Lab
by: Ron Allander NBC-HIS

Diana,

Your hearing aids are about seven years old so it is very possible that the manufacturer no longer carries the parts or can repair your hearing aids.

However, there are "All-Make" repair labs that will repair all makes and models of hearing aids no matter how old they are. Try to find an independent hearing aid fitter that works with Starkey Labs. We send all our older hearing instruments to Starkey.

Here's the link to find a Starkey hearing aid fitter in your area: http://www.starkey.com/find-a-professional.
